Join us to kick off Laguna Ocean Foundation’s Tides of Change series, a quarterly celebration of ocean science, conservation, and community action!
The evening will start off with food and drinks provided by Starfish, and engaging conversations on ocean advocacy. We will welcome guest speaker Dr. Brendan Talwar, shark researcher at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, who will share his work with global oceans and the conservation of sharks and rays.
Guests will also experience interactive demonstrations of Laguna Ocean Foundation programs, including:
Tidepool model for ocean education
Restoration of the Aliso Creek Estuary
Ocean education efforts led by staff biologists and tidewater docents
Storytelling of the Laguna Coastline through StoryMaps
