Laguna Ocean Foundation is the proud host of the annual event, KelpFest. With kelp forest restoration at the heart of the celebration, we also honor and showcase other local organizations who are doing amazing work to protect, restore, and educate about the local coastal ecosystem. Make sure to join us every summer for KelpFest!
Join us on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 along the Cobblestones of Main Beach! This year’s event features live music from the SeaView Serenaders and a special appearance by the Huntington Beach Mermaids! Whether you’re coming to get your picture taken with the mermaids, enjoying the live music, or participating in one of the many hands-on activities offered by our amazing exhibitors, there’s something for everyone! 11:30AM-12:30PM: Tidepool Tour at Heisler Park (RSVP here)
1:00PM-2:00PM: Algae Walk & Talk along Main Beach
